Love running? The Jones Crisps Anglesey Half Marathon is shaping up to be one of the most spectacular running races North Wales has to offer in 2017!

Alongside what is routinely labelled as ‘one of the most beautiful half marathons in the world’, we’ve also introduced a new 10km distance to the hugely popular race.

The half marathon course is fast and undulating, and it’s also placed in the running calendar to complement training for the Manchester and London marathons.

Both races have one of the most incredible start lines in the country – a completely closed road Menai Suspension bridge – and flows downhill through Menai Bridge town centre and onwards along the winding closed roads to Beaumaris, all the while flanked with breathtaking views of Snowdonia National Park and the Menai Straits. The route then returns to the finish line in the centre of Menai Bridge.

The 10km follows much of the same half marathon route, but turns back before reaching Beaumaris.

Returning for 2017 is the hugely popular Dragon’s Dash junior race. 2016 saw over 300 young people from across North Wales take part in the 1 mile run which also starts on Menai Suspension bridge.

Entries for the half marathon, 10km and Dragon’s Dash are now all open. To register, or to find out more, visit angleseyhalfmarathon.com
