A small group adventure on foot and using packrafts to journey sea to sea across the wildest terrain in the British Isles, including traverses of Knoydart, Kintail, Glen Affric and Loch Ness.
Take on a true Monster! Our totally unique 4-day packrafting and trekking adventure is a real wilderness undertaking, balancing self-sufficient sections with high levels of support throughout. Our specially designed route takes in the most superlative mountain, forest, loch and river terrain in the British Isles – including the ‘Wild Bounds’ of Knoydart, stunning Kintail and Glen Affric plus the legendary Loch Ness.
It is also a sea to sea journey across Scotland, giving a really tangible objective to this classic format. The trekking is generally on good trails, interspersed and with short and rather stern trail-less sections, some of which feature some exciting yet achievable river crossings. The packrafting is an unprecedented addition to such a journey. It is really quite ground-breaking for these craft to be used in such a format, in Scotland. Our super-portable single-person rafts allow us to access some truly off-grid Highland water and the paddling is often idyllic, sometimes exciting and always a welcome change from the trekking.

New coastal ultramarathon, half marathon & 10K along Cumbria’s coast.
As part of Connecting Cumbria’s Hidden Coast Programme funded by Coastal Communities Fund and Sellafield Ltd, Copeland Borough Council are working with partners to host a brand new running event the length of the borough.
Largely following the line of the designated England Coastal Path, the challenge route will stretch from Millom in the south to Whitehaven in the north. Linking in to the wider programme the coastline will eventually see improvements in infrastructure, new art installations and will enable people to explore Copeland’s art, culture and heritage using the natural environment.
So what to expect? Sweeping views and the sound of the waves, robust route signage, friendly marshals and support, the best race medal and amazing goody bag (we put the ‘good’ in goody bag), and a vibrant Event Village with music and food vans. What’s not to like?

Dominica is known as the Caribbean’s nature island: Packing stunning coastline, lush vegetation, sparkling-clear streams and waterfalls, hot springs and a rugged interior full of jungle mountains, this really is a volcanic island paradise rising dramatically out of the warm Caribbean Sea.
Our route provides a full ‘toe to tip’ south to north traverse of the entire island, focussing on the incredible Waitukubuli (WNT) National Trail. This is the Caribbean’s only long-distance path and provides us with a rollercoaster ride through coastal and interior landscapes, piecing together Dominica’s colourful communities as well as pristine rainforest and incredible views.
The 100 mile route will use the WNT extensively and will provide a stunning route for those looking to stretch their legs either as walkers or runners in this amazing new tropical adventure.

A never-done-before multi-sport crossing from North to South across the full gambit of Iceland’s magical and surreal interior. This is a World of fire and ice that you will never forget: A tough, satisfying and utterly unique adventure fit for the most hardy of souls.
This trip is never-done-before territory. It is an extremely audacious multi-sport crossing of the entirety of Iceland, starting in the far north and traversing right through the centre of the country, until reaching the south coast. Our sensational route passes between and beside numerous massive icecaps and dramatic mountains, all the while following the famous gravel roads, tracks and trails that thread through this land’s vast ash and lava fields.
Rivers are abundant here and numerous crossings will take place during the week, on bike, on foot or by boat. Significantly, the route must also encompass Iceland’s longest and largest river, the Pjorsa.
Cycling can be challenging, due to constantly changing weather, harsh gradients and mixed trail surfaces, though the occasional sections of mountainous single-track are absolutely and utterly World-class. The trekking is breath-taking, with our section taking in some of the famous Laugavegur Trail. On the River Pjorsa, rafting will also provide for some extremely exciting mileage.

A multisport crossing of the entire island chain of the Outer Hebrides on bike, foot and boat from North to South. If you are the sort of person who looks at far-flung islands ‘at the edge of the map’ and wonders what is there, then the Outer Hebrides are for you.
A wondrous archipelago forming a barrier from the wild Atlantic and Scotland’s West Coast, some of these islands are interconnected with causeways and some are separated by sea. In all, the island chain stretches some 150 miles and we intend to hoover up all of that distance from the Butt of Lewis in the north, to tiny Vatersay in the south, using a multisport selection of bike, foot and sea kayak.

From the hall you head out towards the Chesterfield Canal. Once the route hits the towpath runners simply follow this all the way Worksop to eventually join part of the Dukeries race route which enters into the heart of Sherwood Forest. Navigation on the canal could not be simpler as the towpath hugs the canal water. Once you hit the forest it will be well taped.
The race loops 30 miles in Sherwood Forest twice, before returning on the same towpath once again. The Dukeries lap offers some of Nottinghamshire’s most famous, finest and picturesque trail.
Following forest trails, minor roads and footpaths, the route passes charming lodges, through Creswell Crags and skirts the Welbeck Estate.
It then crosses Clumber Park and through peaceful farm land before looping back to pass by the Thoresby Estate before returning to the thick of the Forest again.
