The realbuzz.com Richmond RUNFEST are excited to launch their new 5k race – The RICHMOND SUNDOWN 5K. This will be an evening race in Richmond Upon Thames starting at 7pm on Saturday 14thSeptember at the Richmond RUNFEST. Participants can watch the sun go down as they make their way around the 5k course and finish with a special music after party where Sharlene & Vula from Basement Jaxx will be headlining.
This 5k course is fun and flat with entertainment every 500m to keep the runners going! Each participant will receive a fantastic medal AND a beer at the end.
The 5K follows on from the Richmond Kids’ events in the afternoon where there is also entertainment for the little runners, so the whole family can have fun and be active throughout the day. In addition to this is the Richmond Fitness Expo and a variety of Food vendors for post-run refuelling. Entry into this post-run fun is free to all family & friends so bring them along and ‘Bingo Bango’ together!
Race Director, Tom Bedford said “music is an important element to a RUNFEST event so we are super excited to have Sharlene and Vula performing with their band. It does not matter if you walk it, jog it or run it. Just ‘Do your thing’ and join us on the 14th September!“
