The organisers of On Shrewsbury Half Marathon have confirmed GU Energy as the Official Nutrition Partner for the event on Sunday 6th October 2019 #ShrewsburyIsOn.
GU Energy will be on course to provide runners with a tasty boost of energy just when they need it. As it is recommended that runners train with the same nutrition they race with, GU Energy is also offering a 40% discount to competitors who order via their website. Runners can choose from a mix of flavours including Salted Caramel, Chocolate Outrage, Vanilla Bean, Expresso Love, Jet Blackberry and Lemon Sublime.

The last 200 places are now available for On Shrewsbury Half Marathon 2019 and online entries will close on Monday 30th September. Anyone still wishing to be on the start line at the beginning of October is encouraged to sign up now.
On Shrewsbury Half Marathon is a professional and friendly event offering immense runner support. The 13.1-mile course takes runners through Shrewsbury’s historic centre and out into the beautiful Shropshire countryside, before returning to Shropshire County Showground, site of the first-class race village.

Up & Running’s SRG run group will also be supporting the pacers in the half marathon and there will be plenty of retail, entertainment and catering options in the race village.

On Shrewsbury Half Marathon takes place at 9am on Sunday 6th October 2019. Entry closes on Monday 30th September. Entry costs £29 (affiliated) or £31 (non-affiliated). All finishers receive a bespoke medal, a carton of One Water, technical t-shirt, goody bag, free pre- and post-race massages and free race photos.
