Want to learn more about harnessing the power of your mind?

Join us and Professor Andy Lane on Wednesday 9th October 8pm-9pm on the UKRunChat hour on Twitter for a special Question & Answer edition. You can send in your questions for Andy via the posts on our Facebook and Instagram pages, or via Twitter using the hashtag #ukrunchatQA

Andy Lane is a Professor of Sport Psychology at the University of Wolverhampton. He has authored over 200 peer refereed journal articles, three books and is a regular contributor to the print, radio and TV media.

He is a Chartered Sport and Exercise Scientist and Sport Psychologist. He provides support to the UKactive Research Institute’s Scientific Advisory Board and the Centre for Health and Human Performance at Harley Street, London.

Andy has completed over 425 parkruns, and in 2015, ran a sub 3-hour marathon for 1st time, 25 years and many marathons after his first attempt. He also competes in indoor rowing, initially as training for a knee injury and now for enjoyment. A 2-km can be a personal experiment into how much fatigue you can take – applying his professional advice on his own training – practice what you preach!!!.

So if there is ever anything you wanted to know about how you can apply the power of your mind to help you perform better, now is your chance.
