The 2-lap race route

When racing please keep to the right-hand side of the road.

This is a fully closed road route, when racing please keep to the right-hand side of the road.  The lead vehicle will be a BMW which will have the timing clock on the roof. The lead vehicle will do the first lap only.

Water stations

There is one position on the route where there will be water stations on both sides of the road, thus there are 4 stations at 2, 4.5, 8.5 and 11 miles.  Please always keep right.  At the stations you will find water and at miles 4.5 and 8.5 there will be gels provided by Elivar.

Bibs

Any participant who entered after Monday 4th October will need to pick up their bibs from Race HQ from 7:30am.  Anyone who entered prior to the 4th, your bib has been posted to you.

Covid 19

Please do not attend the event if you have been told to self-isolate or receive a positive test between now and event day.  Please be mindful of others as some runners may want to stay socially distanced.  There is lots of room at the Showground and on the route for this to be achievable.  Finally, please, no snot rockets or spitting!

All other information can be found on this page www.shrewsburyhalf.com including where to find your results and photos post-race so please do have one last read of all the “what you need to know” section.

We are really looking forward to the event and seeing you all #RunShrewsbury
