Britain’s greatest distance runners Paula Radcliffe and Mo Farah have been confirmed as guest speakers at Wales’ first sport, health and well-being exhibition.
The Cardiff Sports Expo takes place alongside the prestigious IAAF/Cardiff University World Half Marathon Championships in the capital later this month.
It will feature talks from some of the biggest names in sport, including three-time World Half Marathon Championships winner Radcliffe, double Olympic and World Championships gold medallist Farah and Wales’ former marathon world record holder Steve Jones.
The free exhibition, held at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff City centre, opens on Thursday 24 March and runs until Saturday 26 March, when the prestigious IAAF/Cardiff University World Half Marathon Championships takes place. (10am-8pm Thursday & Friday, 9am-5pm Saturday).

“The Cardiff Sports Expo is the first of its kind in Wales and brings together some of the biggest brands, organisations and guest speakers in sport for an exciting three-day event.
“Up to 20,000 runners taking part in the IAAF/Cardiff University World Half Marathon Championships mass race will be visiting the Cardiff Sports Expo to collect their race packs, so there will be a real buzz of excitement at the Motorpoint Arena.
“We have a range of different activities, retailers and seminars across a number of sports, so there is something for everyone with an interest in health and well-being. A fantastic Easter day out for the people of Wales.”
Global sportswear giant adidas, an official partner of the IAAF/Cardiff University World Half Marathon Championships, will have a major presence at the exhibition and more than 40 brands, national governing bodies, event managers and charities will be showcase their products and services.
