Schools Half Marathon 2020 medal

The organisers of One Running Movement, a collaborative evolution for movement and change, have announced details of the Schools Half Marathon and Schools Marathon virtual events.

These cumulative virtual running events have been launched following requests from parents and carers during these unprecedented times to complete the Schools Half Marathon and Schools marathon events at home with their child or children, or outdoors as a family.

All participants must run safely and responsibly, and follow government advice about running and COVID-19 which can be found here.

Schools Half Marathon Colour My Miles

Schools Half Marathon Virtual Special is open to all runners aged 4+ and is available immediately. Participants run a cumulative total of 13.1 miles, receiving rewards along the way to keep them motivated. They colour in a section of their Colour My Miles trainer chart after each mile, tick off the miles on their A4 wall planner, receive a 6-star wristband after completing 6 miles, and are awarded their Schools Half Marathon medal once they complete the full distance.

Schools Half Marathon Virtual Special is available for a special price of £12 including UK postage. All materials and instructions will be sent in one package, and they are available for immediate dispatch. A limited number of places are available so youngsters, siblings and adults are encouraged to sign up now and join the drive to #MoveForLife.

We are doing all that we can to support people and encourage movement, which is a great way to keep physically and emotionally healthy during this time.
