British athletics hero Mo Farah has confirmed that his race at the Müller Anniversary Games on Sunday 9 July 2017 will be his last at the event.

Mo Farah said: “The Muller Anniversary Games is now established as the best grand prix meeting in the world and a great chance for the athletics fans to see all the top athletes compete.”

Niels de Vos, Chief Executive of UK Athletics, said: “With tickets for Farah’s events at the 2017 World Championships having sold out, this is the last chance for the British public to see Mo compete at the scene of his magnificent double Olympic gold triumph.”

The most decorated British athlete of all time won double Olympic gold at the London Stadium in 2012 and most recently set the world leading 5000m performance at the 2016 Müller Anniversary Games as he won in a time of 12:59.29.

The Müller Anniversary Games will give British fans the chance to see the legend take on the best in the world on a track where he has never been beaten.

British Athletics has also announced that Muller UK & Ireland has signed a deal to continue as major events partner for 2017. Müller will be title partner for the Müller Indoor Grand Prix Birmingham, Müller Anniversary Games and Müller Grand Prix Birmingham.
