A little more about Alex.

Alex is a Registered Clinical and Sports Dietitian with over a decade of experience in dietary management. She has a BSc (Hons) in Sports & Exercise Science from the University of Birmingham and a Post Graduate in Nutrition & Dietetics. She is owner of Diet360 and runs a successful Performance Nutrition consultancy in Marlow, Buckinghamshire.

Alex specialises in endurance nutrition, supporting a range of athletes, from ultra distance enthusiasts to supporting multi-day expeditions in challenging environments. She has had varied experience in the past, having worked with the British Army & Navy, NHS, and a number of rehabilitation and physiotherapy clinics. She is also a contributor to a number of publications within the diet and fitness industries and you may have read some of her articles in Athletics Weekly, Running Fitness,Trail Running magazine, Fit and Well or Ultra magazine.

Alex is also herself an experienced runner with her London club Thames Hare and Hounds. She did her first marathon at the age of 19 and is still hitting the distance 17 years later. In this time she has had great success over multiple distance events and delved into the world of Ultra running last year successfully winning all 5 races to date. Her most recent success was a month ago running the Endurance Life CTS Gower Ultra smashing the EnduranceLife course record by 30 mins. Her aim for 2017 is a sub 3 hour Autumn marathon and qualification races for CCC entry for 2018.

Alex’s years of competitive running helps her identify and work successfully with a number of professional and amateur athletes on improving performance through diet and nutrition. She gets to experience the realities of training pressures around family and work life and also to practice what she preaches in her training and competitions.
