Looking for a new cycling challenge to train towards? Look no further than the sell-out event – Etape Caledonia. Heading in to its 13th year, the UK’s original closed-roads sportive attracts thousands of keen cyclists to the Scottish Highlands deep in Perthshire, which offers one of the most beautifully scenic rides on the planet.
With either an 85 or 40 mile route full of rolling hills and forest-lined roads around Loch Rannoch and Loch Tummel, combined with the demanding, twisting climb of Mt Schiehallion which sits at 1,083m.
This year the event has SOLD OUT its general places in record time with demand higher than ever, leaving only a few avenues to take on the esteemed event.
As a UKCycleChat member, you can enter an exclusive competition to win two free premium places in to the event. Look out for our usual competition tweets on @UKCycleChat and post on Instagram which will have full details on how to enter.
A premium place usually costs £80 and not only will you be the only ones to receive a free parking space and have your rider pack delivered directly to your door (avoiding having to collect it the day before the ride, and saving on a hotel room!), you will also receive an exclusive Etape Caledonia gift. Trust us when we say this is not one to miss out on!
If you did want to ride the 40 mile or 85 mile routes, you still can for one of our incredible charity partners; Marie Curie or Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance. To find out more on how to ride for them, visit our site here – https://www.etapecaledonia.co.uk/charity-partner
We’ll see you on the start line!
