AIR:10k has been given the green light to go ahead on 15th May inside Kew Gardens.
The team that brought the British Olympic Marathon Trial last month and the UK’s largest mass participation sporting event since the beginning of the pandemic, Kew Gardens 10k’s back in September 2020, are happy to announce that the AIR:10k has been given the go ahead to take place in 5 weeks’ time.
Tom Bedford, Race Director says “We’re thrilled that running is back and we look forward to delivering a Covid secure event. The 10K, recently the location of the British Olympic Marathon Trials, is pancake flat and a perfect event to welcome runners back. Due to Covid restrictions there are no spectators, but your family and friends are invited to meet you after the race and re-enter Kew Gardens with you for free, for a beautiful post-race celebration!”
AIR stands for AUDIO INSPIRED RUNNING and the event is encouraging runners to beat the headphone ban and enjoy running a 10K inside Kew Gardens.
