Following the overwhelming success of the 2018 race just last weekend, the organisers of OPAP Limassol Marathon GSO have confirmed that the 2019 event will take place on the weekend of Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th March.
OPAP Limassol Marathon GSO is Cyprus’ largest sporting event and is known for being flat and fast, covering long stretches of traffic-free road including the spectacular coastal road of greater Limassol. It is an ideal event for runners of all levels with a choice of race distances, and a perfect opportunity for serious runners to achieve a PB.
Feedback from this year’s event has been extremely positive, with many participants referring to the event as #MoreThanARace following on from a first-class weekend experience. Over the course of the two days, competitors and their families were able to enjoy not just their chosen race but also a fantastic social environment, friendly welcome, smooth organization, immaculate accommodation and excellent parallel events such as the Petrolina Energy Day and pasta party. Add to this the beautiful spring weather and the magnificent views of the sparkling Mediterranean, and it is easy to see why so many athletes make a whole weekend of OPAP Limassol Marathon GSO.

The 2019 OPAP Limassol Marathon GSO takes place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th March.
