Entries are now open for North Wales’ newest trail race – the 2018 Snowdonia Endurance Trail, part of the exciting new Snowdonfest weekend taking place in the Conwy Valley.

Taking place on the 29th September 2018, the 5km looped course uses much of the same trails around Gwydir forest as the 2013 IAU Trail World Championships (won by Team GB’s Ricky Lightfoot). The forest is renowned for its stunning, leafy trails and is a hugely popular running and mountain biking destination in North Wales.

All competitors will run the same 5km looped course, but can choose from a 1 hour, 2 hour or 3 hour option to compete in. The winners are the runners who can complete the most laps in their chosen time.

The cost of the race also includes a FREE entry into the rest of the Snowdonfest weekend!

Snowdonfest will be a fun packed, family friendly day full of music, sports and film and is a collaboration between Always Aim High and TAPE to offer a unique experience. Visitors are invited to cheer on the competitors in the race and stay for the music, entertainment, films and refreshments on the stunning site in Llanrwst. With a line up of home grown local artists Snowdonfest will offer a platform to showcase the magnificent talents available in North Wales.
