I was given the Shock Absorber Ultimate Run bra to road test so to speak and did think at the time after I had been asked if I wanted one “well it’s just a sports bra and they must be all the same”
How wrong was I.
I must admit all the “sports bras” I have ever owned up to now have been the standard sizing as in small, medium or large not specifically for my actual size and to be honest probably an after thought after the rest of my running gear.
Shock Absorber make bras in the normal sizes you would buy a normal everyday bra.
They come in sizes 30-36A; 30-38 B-G.
It is their best selling run bra because of the support it gives and is suitable for running, jogging and marathoning.
The bra has two fastening one at the top which I did up after the normal bra type fastening,dead easy to do.
The bra itself is a compression style, the straps can be adjusted as can the back one too, the shoulders straps are padded slightly giving extra comfort should you be using a rucksack.
I have used it for running and also at the gym for a HIIT session on numerous occasions.
I totally love this bra it fits like a glove, it offers great supports, it’s not tight, so comfy to wear it’s like having a second skin that I don’t realise I am wearing. It also washes great too.
Having had sports bras before that have even been a small or medium I would definitely say that getting one for your actual size makes a huge difference.
Just a brilliant piece of kit that the 80% should think more about.
