Enertor, the performance insole brand backed by Usain Bolt, is launching its game-changing Recovery Slide, engineered to help runners reduce pain, ease fatigue, and recover faster between training sessions.
Landing on 1st February, the Enertor Recovery Slide isn’t a generic sports slide. It’s a purpose-built recovery tool, developed by biomechanics specialists with more than 25 years of injury-prevention expertise. At its core is UltraSole™, Enertor’s new full-foot shock absorption technology that absorbs 50% of impact, dramatically reducing muscle and joint strain to help tired legs bounce back faster.
In consumer trials, runners reported:
- 92% less pain or soreness after training
- 89% less leg and foot fatigue
- 87% faster recovery post-workout
Designed for athletes chasing PBs and pushing volume, the Recovery Slide strips back gimmicks and focuses on what actually works. The wide fit, subtle arch support, built-in met pad and slightly raised heel are engineered to reduce pressure points and ease load on calves and the Achilles, supporting comfort and relief after a long session.
Available in lime green (limited edition), bone, and black, the Recovery Slide has been designed for serious runners who take their recovery as seriously as their training.
And it’s launching at a moment when demand for meaningful recovery tools is growing fast, because high-intensity fitness isn’t just trending, it’s becoming the new drug for people chasing progress, performance, and the next challenge.
HYROX, the global fitness-race phenomenon, has rapidly evolved from a niche competition into a mainstream athletic format. Participation has grown from around 175,000 competitors in its earlier seasons to an anticipated 650,000 in 2024–25. A similar surge can be seen in long-distance racing. IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 events continue to expand, with more than 200,000 athletes registering globally in 2024.
As more people push mileage, intensity, and consistency, recovery is no longer an afterthought; it’s part of the performance equation. The challenge isn’t simply completing the miles. It’s staying injury-free, minimising fatigue, and maintaining momentum through demanding training blocks. Tools that support impact management and reduce the strain of repeated load are becoming essential, not optional.
Nick Beresford, CEO of Enertor, shares: “After five years of research, countless prototypes and more failures than I care to admit, we’re finally launching a product we truly believe is a game changer in the recovery space. Recovery is now almost as important as training itself, and any technology that can help, even by a small margin, becomes essential for anyone who wants to stay fit, stay healthy, and get back out there faster.”
