The IRONMAN Pro Series™, now in its second year, will see professional triathletes vie for the title of IRONMAN Pro Series Champion and a lion’s share of the lucrative $1.7 million USD year-end bonus prize pool.

In 2025, the IRONMAN Pro Series will be contested over 18 events and 17 race locations around the globe, including a combination of six IRONMAN® and eight IRONMAN® 70.3® triathlons, as well as the IRONMAN World Championship® women’s and men’s races and IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship triathlon.

Some of the best professional triathletes across the globe will head to Austria for the 14th stop on the IRONMAN Pro Series tour. The pros will be battling it out for a share of the $50,000 total event pro prize purse and up to 2,500 series points. The pros will also be competing for two qualifying slots per gender for the 2026 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship triathlon in Nice.

Nearly 2,300 age groups will also race alongside the professionals at this city center finish line race.

IRONMAN Pro Series Panel to take place at 11:30am on Friday 29 August located at the Tauern Spa (Tauern Spa Str. 1, 5710 Kaprun, Austria) and is free and open to the public.

The race will be broadcast live across multiple platforms for international viewers including proseries.ironman.com, DAZN, iQIYI, L’Équipe Live, ESPN (within Disney+) for Latin American & Caribbean viewers and YouTube among others, and exclusively on Outside TV for US and Canada viewers.

Age-group athletes will compete alongside the professionals on the same course, looking to earn qualifying slots for the 2026 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship triathlon in Nice

  • Lisa Perterer (AUT) – Three-time Olympian, 7th in IRONMAN Pro Series standings, 6th at 2024 IRONMAN 70.3 Zell am See-Kaprun, 2nd at 2025 Athletic Brewing Lake Placid, 3rd at 2025 IRONMAN Texas North American Championship.
  • Solveig Lovseth (NOR) – A successful season so far, 4th in IRONMAN Pro Series standings. Winner of Athletic Brewing IRONMAN Lake Placid, winner of IRONMAN 70.3 Venice-Jesolo, 3rd at IRONMAN Hamburg European Championship.
  • Anne Reischmann (DEU) – Currently 3rd in Pro Series Standings, and this year’s IRONMAN African Champion. Placed 5th or above in her past three races.
  • Kat Matthews (GBR) – Winner of 2024 IRONMAN Pro Series, currently in 2nd place in the IRONMAN Pro Series standings, hot off a win at IRONMAN 70.3 Swansea, winner of Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Texas North American Championship, 2nd at IRONMAN Hamburg European Championship.
  • Fabian Kraft (DEU) – Rising star, competing in just his 5th IRONMAN 70.3 race, winner of 2025 IRONMAN 70.3 Jönköping European Championship, and finished 2nd at the 2025 KraichgauEnergie IRONMAN 70.3 Kraichgau and IRONMAN 70.3 Valencia triathlons
  • Jonas Hoffmann (DEU) – At top-10 finisher in the 2024 IRONMAN Pro Series inaugural season, currently 17th in IRONMAN Pro Series standings. 4th at 2025 IRONMAN 70.3 Kraichgau, 5th at 2025 IRONMAN Frankfurt European Championship.
  • Dominik Sowieja (DEU) – Currently 16th in IRONMAN Pro Series standings. 12th at 2025 IRONMAN Frankfurt and 14th at IRONMAN Texas, 5th at IRONMAN Cozumel in 2024. Former national champion in duathlon and cross-duathlon.
