Up next in the pro calendar this week, the female professional athletes will be flying to the sunny coastline of Côte d’Azur, where athletes will race between the sea and mountains, finishing on the iconic Promenade des Anglais. Nearly 20 female pros will be taking to the start line of IRONMAN 70.3 Nice each chasing a piece of the $7,500 prize money and a slot to the Precision Fuel & Hydration IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship, Nice.

Among the standout athletes is Britain’s Lizzie Rayner (GBR), known for her consistency across the middle-distance circuit. Rayner most recently secured a top 10 finish at IRONMAN 70.3 Aix-en-Provence and will be aiming to challenge for a podium position this Sunday.

French favourite Marjolaine Pierre (FRA) arrives fresh from the female European Championship race at IRONMAN Hamburg European Championship, where she placed fourth against one of the strongest fields in the sport. Pierre also performs well on home soil, most recently taking victory at IRONMAN 70.3 Aix-en-Provence, making her a strong contender for the win on Sunday.

Tanja Neubert (DEU) will make her season debut in 2026. Neubert burst onto the scene last year with a third-place finish at the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Marbella, Spain. Clocking an impressive 4:22:07, she is certainly one to watch on race day.

Other French athletes to highlight include Anne-Sopie Pierre (FRA), Jeanne Collonge (FRA), Sandra Huon (FRA), Aurelia Boulanger (FRA), Nikita Paskiewiez (FRA), Carla Dahan (FRA) and Juliette Lucet (FRA).
