Spanish brand Joma becomes the official technical sponsor of the prestigious Slovak marathon, equipping thousands of runners in a vibrant city full of history
Joma continues to drive its international running strategy by becoming the official technical sponsor of the ČSOB Bratislava Marathon, one of the most iconic races in Europe. This partnership brings together two strong references that share core values such as effort, self-improvement and a passion for sport, within an event that stands out for its international character and its close connection with the city of Bratislava.
With this agreement, Joma further consolidates its presence at major events on the international running calendar, adding Bratislava to its list of flagship marathons alongside Rome, Madrid, Paris and Marrakech.
The next edition of the ČSOB Bratislava Marathon will take place on April 12, 2026, and will bring together thousands of runners of different nationalities across its various race distances, establishing itself as a key event for both amateur runners and experienced athletes.
“We are thrilled to start a long-term cooperation with Joma, one of the most dynamic sports brands in the running industry,” says Peter Pukalovič, Sales Director of the Bratislava Marathon organizing team, responsible for the largest running events in Slovakia, including the ČSOB Bratislava Marathon, the Telekom Night Run series and the dm Women Run. “It is a great honour for our running events to stand alongside some of the most renowned races in Europe. We are truly looking forward to this partnership and, together with our team, we aim to create valuable products that combine high-quality equipment with attractive designs. We are also excited to collaborate with other events supported by Joma in order to offer our participants special benefits and exclusive customized products.”
The ČSOB Bratislava Marathon offers a unique experience by passing through some of the most representative landmarks of the Slovak capital. Its course combines wide avenues, green areas and the surroundings of the Danube River—one of the city’s great symbols—with privileged views of Bratislava Castle and the historic city centre.
The essence of this marathon lies in the balance between an accessible, dynamic course and a setting rich in history and culture. Runners pass through modern districts and iconic locations that reflect Bratislava’s open and international character, turning each mile into a sporting and visual experience that goes far beyond competition.
