This year, a record-breaking 24,000 runners are expected to enjoy the best parts of Madrid while completing the 13.1 miles wearing the exclusive R-1000 Movistar Madrid Half Marathon shoes.
The special footwear for the 2025 edition merges the official colours of the Movistar Madrid Medio Maratón with emblematic details of the city. On the elegant white upper, the silhouette of the iconic bear and the strawberry tree has been added, matching the official event t-shirt. The characteristic blue of the race has been incorporated into the midsole with the inscription “Madrid”. In addition, the sole is magenta to give it a touch of colour and thus break with the traditional chromatics of the race.
The R-1000 shoes have a more flexible and lower density plate, ideal for experienced runners looking to improve their performance without sacrificing comfort. Its less aggressive and more stable design makes it a perfect choice for training and competing. Along with FLY REACTIVE technology, they achieve superior reactivity while absorbing impacts.
