Entries are soon to sell out for this year’s Asda Foundation Yorkshire 10 Mile as entries now drop to less than 300 in its final weeks. Predicted to be a sell-out race in coming days, anyone wishing to be on the start line is being urged to act fast before it’s too late.

Taking place on Sunday 20th October, thousands will be lining up for both the Yorkshire Marathon and Yorkshire 10 Mile for what is set to be another fantastic year of marathon running in Yorkshire. Starting and finishing at the University of York, the 10 Mile takes in a section of the attractive 26.2 mile marathon course. This unique atmosphere has become a much-loved feature of marathon day since it launched in 2015.

Tristan Batley-Kyle, Head of Events at Run For All, said: “The Yorkshire 10 Mile has quickly grown into a very popular event. It is excellent that so many people turn out and it is incredible to see how much interest has been shown through the amount of entries we are currently receiving. For anyone considering this event we would advise to secure their spot sooner rather than later due to the prediction that it will be a sell-out event.”

The Yorkshire 10 Mile is expected to raise tens of thousands of pounds for charity and continues the fundraising legacy of the late Jane Tomlinson.
