The organisers of the Shrewsbury Half and Metric Half Marathon have announced Pareto FM as Headline Sponsor of both events, which are now called Pareto FM Shrewsbury Half Marathon (13.1 miles) and Pareto FM Shrewsbury Metric Half Marathon (8.1 miles).
Both events take place in Shrewsbury on Sunday 8th October 2023 and entries are open. After sponsoring Shrewsbury Half Marathon in 2021, Pareto FM has returned as Headline Sponsor for 2023 and also supports the Shropshire Primary Schools Half Marathon, which will see 1,200 children from 23 schools complete the final mile of their cumulative half marathon at The West Mid Showground on Saturday 22nd April 2023.
The Pareto FM Shrewsbury Half Marathon and Pareto FM Shrewsbury Metric Half Marathon both start and finish at The West Mid Showground. A new town centre route has been unveiled for both races, and they take in all of Shrewsbury’s best bits including the Welsh & English Bridge, Kingsland, Porthill, Coleham, The Quarry and Frankwell.
