COROS Wearables Inc., makers of endurance sports wearables and training software, announced that Phil Sesemann will join the COROS UK Pro Athlete team.

UK Athlete Phil Sesemann will use the COROS PACE 2 GPS watch as well as the company’s EvoLab and Training Hub to improve his training and racing performance.

Phil has a busy 2023 ahead of him as he intends to target half and full-marathon distances. In April, he plans to race in the London Marathon, where he finished 10th in 2022 with a PB of 2:12.10. Later in the year, Phil is also looking to compete in the Big Half.

The partnership is the first that COROS has signed with a UK-based Elite road runner and marks a significant step for the business as it looks to build on its strong presence in the UK.

Commenting on the signing, Alec Duffield, General Manager of COROS UK, said: “Phil is one of the most exciting athletes in the UK, and we’re thrilled to have him on the team. We look forward to supporting Phil and sharing his journey as he heads through the year.

“It’s pretty sweet when the watch brand you’re already wearing signs you to an athlete partnership – I’m stoked to be working with COROS UK officially. I first got my hands on a COROS PACE 2 last September. I wanted the lightest GPS watch possible to race the London Marathon with, and I have used it every day since and will continue to share why I choose the PACE 2 for every run and, most importantly, how the data captured helps inform my training as I target some lofty goals this year.”
