Salomon and IRONMAN have announced a five-year partnership, bringing together two iconic brands with a shared vision for the future of endurance.

Beginning in 2027, the partnership will span performance and lifestyle footwear, apparel, and technical bags at IRONMAN® events globally, combining Salomon’s expertise in performance innovation with IRONMAN’s global endurance community. At the heart of the agreement, Salomon will become title partner of the IRONMAN World Championship® race in Kona, Hawai`i, the most iconic event in all of triathlon.

Born in the French Alps more than 80 years ago and spanning Nordic skiing and adventure racing, trail, road and gravel running, Salomon has built its expertise across endurance sports and seasons, helping athletes perform over long distances and in the most demanding conditions.

“Athletes no longer define themselves by one sport. They run on the road, compete in the mountains, take on triathlons, and continually seek new ways to challenge themselves. Endurance has become a lifestyle. For Salomon, joining forces with IRONMAN is a natural step and an opportunity to bring our performance expertise to one of the world’s most committed endurance communities,” said Guillaume Meyzenq, President, Salomon

“IRONMAN and Salomon are united in the belief that endurance sports unlock human potential. This partnership is rooted in a commitment to serve athletes and help them pursue ambitious goals. Salomon’s heritage, performance expertise, product innovation, and community-driven philosophy make the brand a natural partner for IRONMAN. We look forward to working together to enhance the athlete experience across our community,” said Scott DeRue, Chief Executive Officer, The IRONMAN Group

As an IRONMAN Premier Partner through 2031, Salomon will have exclusive rights across performance footwear, apparel and technical bags within the IRONMAN ecosystem. Athletes and fans will have access to exclusive Salomon co-branded products at IRONMAN merchandise stores globally.

Salomon will also become the title and presenting partner of select IRONMAN and IRONMAN® 70.3® events globally, including fan favourites, such as:

  • Athletic Brewing IRONMAN 70.3 Oceanside presented by Salomon
  • Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Texas North American Championship presented by Salomon
  • Salomon IRONMAN 70.3 Chattanooga
  • Salomon IRONMAN Lanzarote
  • Athletic Brewing IRONMAN Lake Placid presented by Salomon

The Salomon IRONMAN World Championship

From 2027, Salomon will become title partner of the IRONMAN World Championship race in Kona, Hawai’i, the most iconic stage in endurance sport and the ultimate expression of the commitment, preparation and resilience that defines the IRONMAN community.

“To become Title Partner of the IRONMAN World Championship triathlon in Hawai’i is both an honor and a responsibility. We are entering this partnership with humility, ambition and a long-term commitment. We want to contribute to its future while respecting everything that has made Kona iconic and create lasting value for the athletes and communities who make endurance sport what it is,” said Guillaume Meyzenq, President, Salomon

The Salomon IRONMAN World Championship event will mark a major milestone in a five-year partnership built not simply around visibility, but around a long-term commitment to athletes, innovation and the future of endurance sport.

The Salomon Run Course

At each IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 event, Salomon will have naming rights to the run course, which will become known as the ‘Salomon Run Course’, connecting the brand’s growing expertise in road running with the final discipline of the race.

The partnership will come to life through three areas that define Salomon’s approach to endurance: athletes, product and performance expertise.

Salomon athletes Marjolaine Pierré, Julie lemmolo and reigning IRONMAN World Champion Casper Stornes, will help bring the partnership to life, contributing first-hand insight into the specific demands of training, racing and running after hours of effort, helping inform Salomon’s approach to the sport.

With a longstanding heritage in running and a reputation built through decades of innovation on trails and mountains, Salomon will develop footwear and apparel designed for the demands of middle and long-distance triathlon training and racing. Across selected IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 events and communities, athletes will also have opportunities to discover, test and experience Salomon products.

Beyond product, Salomon will bring its broader performance expertise to the partnership. Through its athlete-first approach, its Service to Athlete platform and its Performance Program led by sport scientist Aitor Viribay, the brand works across biomechanics, training, nutrition, recovery and athlete feedback to better understand what enables athletes to perform for longer. The IRONMAN series will provide a unique environment to deepen that knowledge and translate it into meaningful innovation for elite athletes and the wider endurance community.

Together, these three pillars, athletes, product and performance expertise, will make the partnership more than a presence on race day, helping shape what endurance performance can become next.
