Salomon has announced the Aero Blaze 4 GRVL GTX, a road-to-trail running shoe designed for running across surfaces including tarmac, gravel, grass and light trails.

The shoe uses Salomon’s optiFOAM² midsole, which the company says is designed to provide cushioning and responsive rebound.

A Gravel ContaGRIP® outsole features a 2.5mm lug depth. Salomon says the tread pattern is designed to provide traction across a range of surfaces, with the outsole pattern taking inspiration from gravel bike tyres.

The upper is designed to provide a secure fit while allowing some breathability. The shoe also features Salomon’s quickLACE™ system for adjustment and a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane, making it suitable for wet and damp conditions.

The Aero Blaze 4 GRVL GTX is available in men’s and women’s versions.
