Threshold Sports have announced the launch of “Dulux London Revolution Trails”, which will take place on the outskirts of London, on Saturday 11th May.

There will be three distances for runners and walkers to tackle, including a half marathon, a marathon and an ultra-marathon, combining scenic views along the Thames Path and the leafy walkways of The Chilterns.

All three trails will start at Marlow Rugby Club and finish at Windsor Racecourse. The half marathon will run along the banks of the River Thames for a flat 22.1km. The 43.4km marathon and the 51.8km ultra-marathon will take participants into The Chilterns woodland, allowing runners, joggers and walkers alike the opportunity to explore the leafy trails before joining the winding Thames Path.

Each trail is fully supported and sign-posted, with pit stops along the routes packed with snacks, drinks and sports nutrition products.

All participants taking part in the half marathon, marathon and ultra-marathon will have the option to relax and spend the night of the 11th May at the at the Windsor Racecourse festival basecamp, alongside cyclists who have opted to complete the 300km cycling route over two days.

At the legendary basecamp cyclists and runners alike can meet up with their supporters and enjoy delicious food, hot showers, massages, bars and live music. A kid’s zone can also be found in the festival basecamp for those whose families want to come along and show their support.

The new trail running series will take place on the same day as the Dulux London Revolution, which famously takes cyclists on a unique 360° loop around London.

Cara da Silva, Director at Threshold Sports said: “We are delighted to be able to announce the launch of the Dulux London Revolution Trails. Each Trail is spectacular and offers a variety of sites and scenery for everyone to soak up.

“We want to encourage anyone who signs up to take on the trails at their own pace and to enjoy the unique experience!”
