Indoor cycling brand Wattbike have announced that their Wattbike Atom is now available to purchase directly by their Irish customers.

Wattbike is the original indoor smart bike innovator, offering the most accurate and reliable training tools used by champions, athletes, and fitness enthusiasts worldwide. Responding to a surge in interest in the Wattbike brand and accompanying web traffic, Irish customers will now be able to order directly from their website – www.wattbike.com – with access to their award-winning Wattbike Atom smart bike.

Wattbike is the indoor bike of choice for a large number of high profile Irish teams and athletes; including national & provincial rugby, GAA and top flight Irish premier division teams. UFC star Conor McGregor is regularly spotted using his Wattbike and the team work closely with Anthony Walsh – former pro cyclist and founder of Roadman Cycling & host of the Roadman Cycling Podcast. The team will continue working closely with their Irish distribution partner TT Fitness Systems Ltd, who have already established the brand’s reputation within elite sports and gyms in the country.

Stephen Loftus, Wattbike CEO, says: “This is an exciting development for Wattbike, and we consider Ireland to be a further market in our continued plans for international brand growth. We’re delighted to be able to offer our Atom bikes to our Irish fan base and look forward to further building upon our already strong roots in elite Irish sport.”

Anthony Walsh of Roadman Cycling and the Roadman Cycling Podcast says, “I’ve had my own Wattbike since 2013, purchasing it as a means of training when I was back in Ireland – time crunched, and recognising that the weather can be a little less “forgiving”. Ten years on, I still consider my Wattbike to be a vital part of my training routine and I wouldn’t be without it. It’s a brilliant piece of kit that offers me unrivalled insights into my training”

Of the launch into Ireland, Walsh says, “I’m over the moon to hear that the Wattbike Atom will now be available over here in Ireland, and I know of many in my network that will be delighted with the news too. Irish professional athletes have long had access to the best in the business, it’s exciting to see that this is now something the wider consumer can experience too!”
