With just 30 days to go until Supertri Blenheim Palace returns on 6–7 June, excitement is building for one of the UK’s most iconic multisport events. Renowned for its stunning setting within a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this year’s event will be even more memorable, as triathlon royalty lines up alongside 7,000 amateur athletes and fans.
Olympic medallist and sporting legend, Jonny Brownlee will take on the Weekend Warrior category, aiming to break the record with 10 back-to-back sprint triathlons across the weekend. This is a rare chance to race alongside one of the sport’s greatest. You won’t just be competing, you’ll be sharing the same start line, course and atmosphere as a global icon.
The reigning Weekend Warrior record holder, Ade Fowler, from London, will be lacing up once again to see how far he can push himself against the greatest triathlete of all time! From the scenic swim in the Palace lake to the exhilarating bike and run routes through the estate’s historic grounds, the event blends elite sport with an accessible, festival-like atmosphere for athletes and spectators alike.
This is the last chance to enter. With places filling fast, athletes of all abilities are urged to secure their spot before it’s too late. Whether you’re a first-timer taking on a personal challenge or a seasoned competitor chasing a new personal best, Supertri Blenheim Palace offers an unforgettable race experience.
Jonny Brownlee said: “I’ve been lucky enough to race in some extraordinary places throughout my career, but Blenheim Palace has always been a favourite of mine. If you’ve ever thought about racing here, this is the year to do it. Come down on June 6, race yourself, race alongside me, and cheer me on.”
With 30 days to go, former triathlon World Champion, Tim Don, shares three tips for getting race ready:
1. Own your transitions (they matter more than you think)
Swimming, cycling and running are only part of the race, transitions can make or break your experience. In the coming weeks, rehearse moving from swim to bike to run. Lay your kit out, practice getting your helmet on, changing shoes and moving efficiently. It will make race day feel far more controlled.
2. Build confidence, not just fitness
You’re not trying to boost fitness now, in the next 30 days you’re aiming to feel ready. Include at least one “brick session” a week (bike straight into a short run) and practice race pace. Confidence in how your body feels is more valuable than squeezing in extra hard sessions.
3. Nail your race-day plan
Don’t leave decisions until race morning. Test your kit, plan your nutrition, and set a realistic pacing strategy. Keep it simple: steady swim, controlled bike, then build into the run. First-timers often go out too hard. Finishing strong always feels better than hanging on.
