The new Tundra Barefoot from Joma is born from the idea that the body does not stop moving when training ends.
Our feet continue to support every step throughout the day, not just on our runs.
Joma’s new barefoot trail running model encourages athletes to embrace a freer, lighter and more ground-connected movement experience during lower-intensity moments. Designed for athletes’ everyday routines, the Tundra Barefoot combines flexibility, comfort and natural movement.
The balance between performance and freedom
Far from replacing technical training or competition footwear, Tundra Barefoot is designed to complement an athlete’s routine. While high-performance shoes are built to provide protection, stability and responsiveness during effort, the barefoot line focuses on a lighter, more flexible and ground-connected experience during lower-intensity situations.
Its biomechanical design and Zero Drop technology promote a smoother and more natural stride, allowing the foot to move with greater freedom and a more active role in every step.
Barefoot technology applied to trail running
The Tundra Barefoot features an upper made from technical Jacquard, a lightweight and breathable material that adapts to the shape of the foot to provide a comfortable and flexible fit with every step. In addition, the VTS ventilation system improves airflow and helps release heat and moisture during everyday use.
The model also incorporates an antibacterial insole designed to fight odour and improve sweat evaporation, helping maintain a fresh and comfortable feeling even during extended wear.
Underfoot, the JOMA BAREFOOT outsole combines phylon and rubber to support the foot’s movement across different surfaces. Its flexible structure and Zero Drop technology allow for a smoother transition and greater ground feel, reinforcing the model’s signature barefoot sensation.
