Always Aim High Events, award-winning Welsh sports event company, is thrilled to announce the launch of its latest trail running event – the Ogwen25k|Yr Helgi Du. Set against the breath-taking backdrop of the Ogwen Valley, this event promises to be an exhilarating challenge for trail runners.
Scheduled to take place on Saturday 3rd August 2024, the Ogwen25k|Yr Helgi Du is designed to celebrate a spirit of adventure and love of the great outdoors. With its diverse terrain and stunning landscapes, the Ogwen Valley provides the perfect canvas for trail runners. Summiting the second highest mountain in England and Wales as part of this imposing skyline trail, the Ogwen25k | Yr Helgi Du race includes epic climbs and technical terrain; it’s truly a mountain race.

The event also offers a 10k distance that will be an out and back, fast and flat route, following the historic Slate Trail through the valley with both the Glyderau and Carneddau dominating the landscape.
