FetchEveryone, the long-running online running community, has unveiled Fetchworld — a playful, map-based adventure game that transforms ordinary runs, rides, and walks into a quest for loot, castles, and bragging rights.
Fetchworld takes the GPS data from your real-world training and drops you into a fog-shrouded fantasy realm. Every outing uncovers new squares of the map, where players can stumble upon treasure, dodge zombies, build castles, or accidentally feed bread to ducks with questionable motives.
Explore, collect, compete
- Collect quirky items — from bricks and dynamite to bread and ducks.
- Build castles, grow forests, and stash precious loot in your chest to keep it safe.
- Outsmart fellow players with clever routes, strategic item use, and the occasional surprise.
Dynamic events
Every 28 days, the full moon rises — and Fetchworld changes. Wealth is redistributed, castles are stormed with pitchforks, and players face fresh challenges designed to shake up the leader boards. Recent events have seen “auditors” scattering thousands of valuable leaves across the grid, while the bold (or mischievous) tried to snatch them up.
A game of strategy and silliness
Fetchworld isn’t about being the fastest runner or riding the most miles. Booby traps and daily item shuffles ensure the playing field stays unpredictable. It’s as much about cunning strategy and playful chaos as it is about fitness.
Accessible to all
If you can log GPS data — whether you’re running, walking, cycling, or just exploring — you can join Fetchworld. Every trip outdoors becomes a chance to reveal more of the map and to see what surprises the fog has been hiding.
FetchEveryone is a free, community-driven platform for runners, cyclists, and fitness enthusiasts. Since 2004, it has provided tools, forums, and support for athletes of all levels. Fetchworld adds a new layer of fun and exploration, encouraging players to lace up not just for training — but for adventure.
