Cementing its status as the UK’s leading running event, the eighth National Running Show at Birmingham’s NEC (31 Jan – 1 Feb 2026) welcomed a record 30,893 running enthusiasts.
Every inch of the venue pulsed with energy as the 2026 show delivered a powerhouse line-up of over 100 world-class speakers, elite athletes, and industry pioneers. The stages and spaces were alive with track and trail royalty and fan favourites, featuring icons such as Carl Lewis, Laura Muir, Dean Karnazes, Tom Evans, Phily Bowden, Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and Harry Judd.
Beyond the celebrity line-up, the event brought the heat with nearly 30 interactive sessions. While the legendary Travelator and Pilates Studio returned, attendees also tackled new experiences like the high-octane Fordy Runs Rave Run, exclusive signings with ultrarunning icons Sabrina Pace-Humphreys and Sophie Power, and an immersive British Orienteering Trail.
The National Running Show 2026 hit a new record with 300+ brands, and momentum for 2027 is already surging, promising even more space and exciting, high-energy, and interactive experiences.
