Saucony is launching the Peregrine 16, the latest version of its well-known trail shoe. It keeps the same low, agile feel that made the Peregrine popular, with a few practical updates for tougher terrain.

Better grip

The big change this year is the move to a Vibram Megagrip outsole, giving the shoe more bite on wet rock, mud, and loose ground.

More cushioning

There’s a little extra PWRRUN foam underfoot, making the ride softer on long climbs or rocky paths without losing the shoe’s nimble feel.

Stronger protection

A rubber toe wrap helps shield against stones and roots, and the upper uses a tougher high-strength mesh that still lets heat escape.

Trail-friendly details

  • D-ring for gaiters
  • 4mm drop (32/28mm)
