The MYTHO Marathon is a fast and exciting course, starting and finishing in Aquileia on Sunday 29 October 2023. A race along flat cycle paths, through nature reserves and around the beautiful Adriatic coast.
MYTHO is among the eight Italian marathons that are part of AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races), which is an important recognition that makes MYTHO Marathon one of the greats.
The route starts from the wonderful Piazza Capitolo, in Aquileia. From this iconic location, runners will follow a spectacular 26.2 miles loop course that will let them discover every corner of the Roman city but also the wonderful Lagoon of Grado, before returning again to the foot of the majestic Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, in Piazza Capitolo.
If you don’t want to take on a full marathon, the MYTHO 20km run takes place on the route connecting Grado to Aquileia, finishing in front of the Basilica of Aquileia, along the spectacular FVG1 Alpe Adria cycle path. Shuttle buses are available. There is also a team marathon and a 10k distance available.
