The Tour de France welcomes Mondial Relay (InPost group) as a new official partner

The partnership with Mondial Relay will enable the Tour de France to be promoted throughout the month of July at the company’s 12,000 Point Relais® (i.e. pick-up points) and 4 000 Lockers automatic withdrawal lockers in towns and villages throughout France.

By associating itself with the Tour de France, Mondial Relay aims to highlight its local presence and the close ties the company creates in the thousands of towns and villages with a Point Relais® or a Locker. As an Official Partner, Mondial Relay will have the pleasure of carrying the official departure flag each day and presenting it before each stage to Christian Prudhomme, director of the Tour de France, and to the representatives of the stage towns.

Mondial Relay’s commitment to the Tour de France is, first and foremost, the association of a festive and popular event with a brand deeply rooted in the daily lives of French people.

Christian Prudhomme, director of the Tour de France, said: “Mondial Relay is a local brand with a network deeply rooted in the regions and whose ambition is to offer a smile around every corner. This local presence and desire to be as close as possible to the French people are values the Tour de France fully identifies, making it a natural partner.”

Julien Goupil, director of Media and Partnerships, A.S.O. added: “The fact that the Tour de France is of interest to a major European group like InPost shows the strength and international influence of the event. InPost and the Tour de France share the same values of commitment and performance in sport and the delivery of thousands of parcels across Europe.”

Quentin Benault, CEO Mondial Relay, concluded: “We are extremely proud to be associated with the Tour de France as an Official Partner. Every day, we strive to unite the public around our Lockers and Points Relais whilst promoting our regions. Soft mobility, proximity, and the pleasure of sharing are shared values with the Tour de France. And now we’re delighted to become the standard-bearer for these excellent values.”

Rafal Brzoska, CEO InPost Group, said: “France is one of the most important markets for the InPost Group. We are proud to become a partner of the Tour de France, the world’s greatest cycling race and the biggest annual sporting event. Cycling promotes values such as environmentally friendly transport, a passion for competition and for sure speed. At InPost, these are values that we practise every day.”
