The ninth edition of the Women’s Tour, the UK’s leading international women’s cycle race, will take place between Tuesday 6 to Sunday 11 June 2023.

Next year’s race, which forms a part of the prestigious UCI Women’s WorldTour, has moved dates by a day in order to allow the six-stage event to finish with two weekend stages.

The 2022 edition was won by Elisa Longo Borghini (Trek – Segafredo), who memorably snatched victory from Grace Brown (FDJ Nouvelle – Aquitaine Futuroscope) in front of packed crowds in Oxford city centre on the final day.

Announcements detailing the host regions and venues for the Women’s Tour 2023 will begin in the coming weeks, with the full route published in the early months of next year.

Mick Bennett, Women’s Tour race director, said: “We are delighted to have worked with the UCI and British Cycling to finalise our dates for June 2023 enabling us to finish with a pair of weekend stages.

“Combined with next year’s overall route, one that will take us into new areas and cities of the UK, this gives us lots to look forward to as we approach 2023 and talk to potential sponsors about the opportunities at the race, including title and jersey partnerships.”
