British Paralympic wheelchair athlete David Weir and runners from Charity of the Year Samaritans will open the 2024 TCS London Marathon Running Show at 10:00 on Wednesday 17 April.

Weir, who finished third at the Boston Marathon on Monday, will celebrate the start of his 25th consecutive London Marathon week by opening the Running Show where more than 50,000 people will register for their place ahead of this weekend’s marathon, taking place on Sunday 21 April.

Samaritans, the 2024 TCS London Marathon Charity of the Year, will be represented by Sarah Ball, Head of Community and Events Fundraising, and TeamSamaritans Captain, Dave Lock. Lock will be dressed in his famous Samaritans Telephone costume as he prepares for his 25th London Marathon in support of the charity.

All participants must attend the 2024 TCS London Marathon Running Show at ExCeL London, One Western Gateway, London, E16 1XL, to collect their Event Pack for Marathon Day.
