Car: If you are driving to the event, please try to car-share with other participants to minimise the environmental impact and disruption to local residents. Please leave enough time to park and walk to the Race Village. Road closures will come into effect before the start of the event and there will be no parking on the roads surrounding the Race Village. Please not that there is no dedicated car park for the Ealing Half Marathon. There are, however, 2 car parks operated by Ealing Council within walking distance of the Race Village. Can I wear headphones?

Yes you can, but organisers suggest running without them so participants can listen out for any instructions from the route marshals and not miss out on the atmosphere created by locals and supporters throughout the 13.1miles.

Will there be on-course entertainment?

The local residents really bring the borough alive! There will be bands, DJs, and performers positioned throughout the course, ready to encourage runners and create an unrivalled atmosphere in the way only Ealing can.

Where will the aid stations be on the course?

There will be several first aid stations on the course: near miles 6, mid-way between miles 9 and 10, with several cycle medics and solo spots across the course and also at the finish.

The first water stop will be after around mile 4, then 5.5 miles, mid-way near mile 9, and the finish line.

Oranges will be provided at St Christopher’s Church near mile 7.5.

Is there a race cut-off time?

Yes, but don’t worry if you don’t think you’ll make it. The cut-off time is three hours for each runner. After that runners won’t be stopped – organisers will just ask them to move to the pavements so roads can reopen. Your medal will still be waiting for you at the finish line.

Where are the best places to spectate?

Your family, friends and colleagues are welcome to come along and support you on the day. The Race Village in Walpole Park will be very busy at the start and finish, but there are plenty of great vantage points nearby. We suggest the following areas, some of which benefit from being passed twice by runners:

  • Uxbridge Road
  • Pitshanger Lane
  • Drayton Bridge Road
  • Cuckoo Avenue
Is there anything else going on other than the race?

The Ealing Mini Mile takes place on Saturday 23rd September for over 2,000 children. Please feel free to come and support. There are a few places left for the early races.

There is a range of catering available in the race village for spectators and runners to enjoy. Local pub The Globe, will be providing their speciality BBQ as always. Head to their pub just down the road in Brentford afterwards for an amazing post-race carvery and refreshments.

Coffee will be available from Monkshood Coffee, Stomping Ground Coffee, The Ginger Coffee Company, plus some delicious Mexican food from Nopalito and some amazing Turkish options from Fiesta Gozleme!

Tickets are on sale for all events for just a few more days.
