Few races in Spain capture the passion of running quite like Behobia–San Sebastián. As the event celebrates its 60th edition this November, Joma has joined the celebrations with a special edition of its R-2000 and R-1000 running shoes, designed especially for the race.

This year’s theme, “50/50 Egin dezagun posible” (“Let’s make it possible”), reflects the race’s push towards greater equality and inclusion. Joma’s designs echo that message, using colour and detailing that symbolise balance and unity across both models.

The collection offers something for every type of runner

The R-2000 x Behobia–San Sebastián delivers cushioning and comfort for those aiming to enjoy every kilometre of the 20K course. Its dual-density midsole combines Joma’s FLY REACTIVE foam for rebound and smooth impact absorption with high-density phylon in the forefoot for added stability.

The R-1000 x Behobia–San Sebastián caters to those chasing performance. A carbon plate embedded in the midsole works with FLY REACTIVE cushioning to provide a responsive, propulsive feel over long distances.

Both shoes feature a lightweight, breathable upper with Joma’s SPORTECH seamless system to reduce friction, while the VTS ventilation system keeps air flowing on warm race days. Each model has been lab-tested to ensure durability, comfort, and consistent performance across varied terrain.
