With over 2,500 runners expected across all distances, the flagship mozart 100 (120 km / 5,800 m D+) has garnered unprecedented attention—not only for its demanding alpine course but also for its newly elevated status as a UTMB Index 100M race. This upgrade marks a historic milestone, positioning the event among the most prestigious ultra-trail races in the world. As part of the UTMB World Series, the mozart 100 now offers 4 Running Stones and a direct qualification pathway to the UTMB World Series Finals in Chamonix for the top 3 women and men.
However, the event is far more than just an ultra-distance challenge. Designed to welcome runners of all levels, the mozart 100 by UTMB® offers a diverse range of race formats, making it an ideal gateway into the world of trail running:

- mozart Half Marathon – 23 km / 1,000 m D+
- mozart Light – 37 km / 1,600 m D+

The 2025 mozart 100 by UTMB® will feature a deep and diverse elite field across its key race distances, with top international athletes set to compete for podium honors. In the flagship mozart 100 (120 km / 5,800 m D+), the women’s field includes Claudia Tremps (ESP, UTMB Index 745), Maite Maiora Elizondo (ESP, UTMB Index 733), and Austria’s own Esther Fellhofer (UTMB Index 705) , all of whom bring strong credentials to the start line. On the men’s side, the competition will be fierce with Ivan Hrastovec (SLO, UTMB Index 816), Pavle Kruljac (CRO, UTMB Index 808), Bartosz Gorczyca (POL, UTMB Index 846), Pablo Villa (ESP, UTMB Index 842), and Alexis Sevennec (FRA, UTMB Index 813) among the top contenders.
